Joseph Edward Noll Summerville - Joseph Edward Noll, 87, of Summerville, SC, husband of Vivian Gillespie Noll, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning, September 29, 2018, at 10 o'clock at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church. The family invites friends to join them for a reception immediately following the service at the church. They will reassemble for the Rite of Committal in Summerville Cemetery at 12:30 PM. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Joseph was born May 26, 1931, in New Freedom, PA, a son of the late Edward Noll and Theresa Stricker Noll. He honorably served in the US Air Force and retired from Civil Service at the Charleston Air Force Base. He was a faithful member of St. John the Beloved for 53 years, and worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for 25 years at Summerville Catholic School. He was also a part of Old Fort Fire Department Board, Dorchester County Water Authority, and Dorchester Estates Civic Club. In addition to his wife, Vivian Noll of Summerville, SC, Joseph leaves behind his son, Michael Noll and wife, Joan Lee Noll, of Sullivan's Island, SC; daughter, Deborah Noll Curley and husband, James Curley, of Mt. Pleasant, SC; brother, Raymond Noll and wife, Cindy, of New Freedom, PA; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
