Upon retiring from the Marine Corps in 1975, he served in various administrative positions at The Citadel including Executive Assistant to the President and Secretary to the Board of Visitors. Many fond memories of Colonel Goodson on campus at The Citadel. Especially for our Class attending its first Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony in the Cadet Lounge of Mark Clark Hall. His article in Marine Corps Gazette on Moral Courage in Leadership of Marines is still the Standard for following generations.
Very Respectfully
