To the children of the Late Rev. Joseph German. I want to say that your dad made a great impact on many of us while we were growing up in our community and his death has caused such a lost for us all. He left a wonderful legacy of wisdom and strong lessons to pass on to future generations. I loved him. There is pain now but it can't compare to the joy that's coming.

To Bert and the entire German Family,
The Lord makes no mistakes and he called your beloved father home to be with him where there is no more sickness, sorrow, crying or dying. Family, I have never met your father but to hear Bert talk about him it just brought joy to my heart to hear him talk about his father. I know that you all are going to miss him but, he is resting with Jesus. Family weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in the morning. I will keep the family in my prayers. God bless each one of you.

To the family of Rev. German:
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I have known
Rev. German for a long time. He was a very nice and kind gentleman.
I remembered the time when I went to Sunday School at Olive Branch
AME Church as a little girl, and he would ask the question: "Where is God?" and the response would be: He is everywhere! He was such a
respectable man in the community of Snowden. Just know the Lord
will take care of you all in your hour of sorrow.
