Joseph Anderson Obituary
Joseph Anderson "Joe" Cool" was born January 13, 1946 to the late Corine Anderson and Hughe Johnson and departed this life on September 4, 2025.
Joe attended the public schools of Berkeley County. He was employed at The Plant Nursery on Hwy 52 for several years. He attended Jehovah AME Church in Cross, SC. Later Joe moved to SC and frequently attended Rapha Restoration Church under the leadership of Pastor Jacqueline Montgomery and often visited with by Pastor Adell Simmons for spiritual leadership. He loved his family and friends, and was such a lovable person. He was always willing to help anyone who was in need. His soft tone and humble, gentle spirit has impacted the lives of many. Joe loved walking and spending time at home with friends and family.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Hughe Johson and Corrine Anderson, and his sister, Queen Esther Washington. He leaves to cherish his memories, his brother, Alex Levine (Pensecola, FL), his sister, Debra Johnson Neal (Lester, NJ), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. A special tribute to his niece Kendra Washington Simmons, his caregiver, for ten plus year, his Hospice Nurses; Laura Penn, RN, and Romaine Michell, RN from Agape Hospice.
