Jordon Barber Obituary

Jordon Tradd Barber MT. PLEASANT - Jordon Tradd Barber, 19, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, with Rev. Dr. Michael T. Haynes of Trident Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Jordon was born April 11, 1995 in North Charleston, South Carolina, son of Timothy G. Barber and Linda Lassig Corbisello. He was a 2013 graduate of Wando High School. He was a true son of the Lowcountry, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, the beach, and skateboarding. Jordon had perfected his love of grilling out, and was considered a Grill Master. He loved his dog, J-Lin. He is survived by his mother, Linda Lassig Corbisello of Mount Pleasant, SC; his father, Timothy G. Barber and his wife, Cathryn of Moncks Corner, SC; his brother, Matthew T. Barber and his wife, Amber of Ladson, SC; his sister, Krystal L. Barber of Ft. Myers, FL; his paternal grandparents, William L. and Frances E. Barber of Saratoga Springs, NY; and his maternal grandmother, Nell L. Lassig of Mount Pleasant, SC. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and two nephews. Jordon was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald L. "Don" Lassig.
