Jonathan Kisner Obituary

Jonathan Vance Kisner, 50, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born on April 5, 1975, Jonathan was the son of the late John Charles Kisner and Linda Kay Sports Shepard. He spent over two decades working as an auto detailer at Cactus Car Wash, where his dedication and work ethic were well known. Jonathan formerly attended Lydia Baptist Church and found joy in simple pleasures-shooting hoops, casting a line, and most of all, spending time with his beloved son. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Frannie Kisner. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Roger Shepard of Goose Creek; his cherished son, Noah Kisner of Goose Creek; his sister, Nichole Weathersbee (Robert) of Moncks Corner; stepsister, Kim Murphy of Bonneau; stepbrothers, Roger Shepard (Joetta) of Goose Creek and James Shepard (April) of Ladson; niece, Alyssa Cumbee (Cole) of St. Stephen; great-nieces, Tate Cumbee and Kynsleigh Cumbee; and nephews, Trenton Weathersbee, Collin Shepard, and Landon Weathersbee. A celebration of Jonathan's life will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM. Jonathan will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his love for family, and the quiet strength he carried through life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
