Living next door to Jon and the Bienz family was always fun as well as knowing we were always there for each other. Jon and I had so much fun for so many years- all great memories. He was a devoted friend and wonderful neighbor. Thank you for the memories.

I am so sorry to hear of Jon´s passing. I favorite memory of him is from college, my parents got me a car for my birthday, it was a stick shift and I didn´t know how to drive it, we rode around a bit, they left and dad told me I would figure it out. A few weeks later, Jon and I decided to go home for the weekend, he had driven a stick before. Between the two of us we made it half way, with no problem, then we hit Delaware Ohio, a stop light on a hill! It took a while, but we finally made it through that light and got back to Washington Court House safely. That was 46 years ago, I still smile when I go through Delaware and I still smile when I think of Jon, now I will smile with a tear. Jon was a great guy.

Worked with Jon many years ago at S. Duvall Catering & Events and carry fond memories of him still today. So sad to learn of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I met Jon when I worked with Duvall. My first event was at Hibernian Hall. He told me to dress in black and white. I wore a white blouse with a champagne pin and a black skirt. He teased me about that for years. We enjoyed a 25 plus year friendship, meeting up for a beer or hanging out at his sweet little Charleston home on Pringle. I will miss my dear friend. So many memories. You will never be lost to us Jon because you were loved by so many. Until we meet again, a toast!
