Jon Hunt Obituary

Jon Louis Hunt GARNETT, SC - Mr. Jon Louis Hunt, 61, died Friday evening in the Colleton Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Mr. Hunt was born in Hampton County, August 23, 1953 a son of the late Frederick Louis and Catherine Patterson Hunt. He was a member of the St. Johns Methodist Church in Garnett, and had made his home at the Forest Circle Community Residence in Walterboro for many years. Surviving are: One sister: Linda H. Wiggins and husband Jimmy of Estill; One Brother: Frederick Nicholas Hunt and wife Rosemary of Beaufort; and a Sister-in-Law: Rebecca B. Hunt of Garnett. He was predeceased by a brother: Joel A. Hunt. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, located at 300 Mulberry Street, West; Hampton, SC 29924 (803) 943-3352, with burial in the Black Swamp Cemetery in Garnett. Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton from 5 until 7 P.M. Sunday and Monday morning prior to services. Memorials may be sent to the Special Olympics, 1276 Assembly Street, Columbia, SC 29201 or the Robertville Baptist Church, 26 Robertville Road, Garnett, SC 29922.
