Johnny "Wayne" Winter Summerville - Johnny "Wayne" Winter, widower of Patricia Ann Floyd Winter, 75, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Trident Medical Center. Family and Friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 from 6 o'clock to 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 1 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment to follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens Mausoleum, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers will be accepted. Wayne was born on April 4, 1946 in Berkeley County, son of the late Henry Purvis Winter,Sr. and Edna Brinson Winter. He loved wrestling and watching old westerns. Wayne was laid back and enjoyed tractors, being on the water and fishing. Survivors include: two daughters: Bridget Taylor Winter of Summerville and Amanda Winter (Christopher Brunson) of Walterboro; six grandchildren: Brittany Taylor (Thomas Grubbs), Brooke Boland (Kelei Kemp), Kaelyn Winter, Brinley Patricia Aubrey Winter, Nathan Wayne Brunson, and Riley Brunson; six siblings: Sara Way of Summerville, Edna Jordan of Summerville, Jean Shealy (Sheppard) of Batesburg, Millie Rearick of Lexington, William Davis of GA, and Dianne Jowers (Daniel) of Summerville and his companion: Delloris Ackerman-Hill. He was predeceased by; four siblings: James Ward, Henry P Winter, Jr. William Aiken Winter, and Betty Lou Chinners.
