Johnny Terry Obituary

Johnny L. Terry SUMMERVILLE - Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny L. Terry, 65, of Summerville, SC, who entered into rest November 8, 2010, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Tad Marshall officiating. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens with Veterans Honors. Mr. Terry was a native of Clearwater, SC, having made Summerville his home for the past 39 years. He was a member of Saint George Episcopal Church, a US Navy Veteran of Vietnam and retired as a Supervisor with South Carolina Electric and Gas. Mr. Terry was the son of the late Athena and Robert Cleckley. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Lorraine Wetherington Terry; three sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Amy Terry, Aiken, SC, Brian and Meghan Terry, Florence, SC, and Blair and Kim Terry, Summerville, SC; a sister, Deanna Atkinson, Beech Island; eight grandchildren, Hannah Terry, Madison Terry, Morgan Terry, Spencer Terry, Gillian Terry, Mia Terry, Logan Terry and Grayson Terry. Pallbearers will be Shane Wetherington, Heath Wetherington, Chris Atkinson, Patrick Atkinson, Kyle Atkinson, Casey Booth and Taylor Cleckley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Odyssey Hospice, 5965 Core Avenue, Suite 603, North Charleston, SC 29406.
