Johnnie Boyd Stone WALTERBORO - Mr. Johnnie Boyd Stone, 86, of 33 Loblolly Street, Walterboro, passed away peacefully at his home under the care of Amedysis Hospice Saturday evening, March 31, 2012. Johnnie loved the Lord and his family with all his heart, always serving God in any way he knew and doing everything he could to provide for his family. He enjoyed fishing the local creeks of Colleton County. Surviving are: two sons, John R. "Ricky" Stone and his wife Suzanne C. of Walterboro and Richard D. Stone and his wife Angie of Walterboro; three daughters, Sharon S. Thorson and her husband Earl of Walterboro, Betty S. Bridgeman of Walterboro, and Janice S. Uncle Johnnie was a wonderful man and a wonderful Uncle. We will greatly miss him just like we miss Aunt Eleanor. We always enjoyed visiting with him and getting sugar cane. We know that Uncle Johnnie is happy to be in Heaven and that he is a handsome angel. Uncle Johnnie and my Dad- Earl Stanley are having a good time fishing. We love you Sharon and Betty and the rest of the family too. May God bless you all and remember that yall's Dad is smiling down on each one of you. Love and Prayers, Bob and Jennifer Thompson

Uncle Johnnie is without a doube one of the finest loving, careing and honorable people I have ever known. He would give anyone a helping hand and he did so many times. He has passed his heritage down to his kids and they are a true representation of his character. Thanks for all the years of making sure that ya'll had boiled peanuts saved in the freezer for the times upon visiting you and Aunt Eleanor. Ya'll never disappointed my Mom and I when we visited and especially not know some of the times when we just stopped by unannounced.
You will be greatly missed but comforting in knowing that you are in heaven with all the family. What a Christian heritage you left!
Love in our thoughts of you and your family from Wayne and your sister Gladys Rivers!
