John was a friend to all and always first to lend a hand. A stand up guy. Always proud to call him a friend.

John and I participated in many dual sports when they started in it's infancy. Made two trips to ride in Colorado with him and what a great time we had together. A true friend. My heartfelt sympathy to Johnny and Shannon and Sandy. RIP my friend. You are going to be missed.

John will be sorely missed by the VSRI community and greatly by me. John was always there to discuss my hairbrain ideas and set me straight. He was respectful and honorable. I will miss him. Bob Vergeer BobbyVStrom

Godspeed John. You were a great person and I'm lucky to have known you too bad we never met in person. Thank you for all you have done for the V-strom community, heck you created the V-strom community.
My condolences to those left behind. You will be missed.

Though I never met John, even 6000 miles away he touched my life, via the VSRI forum. I will think of him every time I touch a wrench or ride a motorcycle. S'long John and thanks for all the advice.
