John and I participated in many dual sports when they started in it's infancy. Made two trips to ride in Colorado with him and what a great time we had together. A true friend. My heartfelt sympathy to Johnny and Shannon and Sandy. RIP my friend. You are going to be missed.

Though I never met John, even 6000 miles away he touched my life, via the VSRI forum. I will think of him every time I touch a wrench or ride a motorcycle. S'long John and thanks for all the advice.
