To the family of John Herrera Villa-we are very saddened to hear of John's passing, he is and always will be close to our hearts, as we were all raised together in "El Ojito" the old hood in Artesia, NM-we have many good memories as we were growing up, and we will miss him dearly, eventhough we didn't see eachother as often as we should have. May he rest in peace. and may the Good Lord hold him in the hollow of his hand forever. Wish we could all be there with all of you. with love and affection. All your old friends in Artesia, NM. Your uncle Pancho Villa is doing o.k.sends his love.

My thoughts will be with you all in your time of grief. May memories of John bring comfort to his family and friends.
I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was a much valued member of the MeadWestvaco Rescue Squad and the award winning Technical Rescue Team. John was one of the first people I met, when I joined the Squad 10 years ago, and was one of my mentors. He was always smiling, friendly, and full of life. I’ll miss his visits to the plant, seeing him ‘cut the rug’ at squad functions, and hearing about his latest cruise adventures. He was a great guy. John, I’m going to miss you. I love you, buddy.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
