John Vaskis Obituary

John Robert Vaskis Mt. Pleasant - John R. Vaskis, 65 of Mt. Pleasant, SC, born in Brooklyn, NY died suddenly Tuesday February 16th at home. With a Master's degree in Oceanography and a career spent as a Project Manager of residential homes in Maryland and Virginia, John was the ultimate handyman who could build or fix anything. He enjoyed spending as much time as possible on the beaches with family and friends. He also enjoyed barbequing, camping, working on cars, and bike riding. He cherished his son John Robert Jr. and looked forward to their time together cheering on the Clemson Tigers. Surviving along with his son John, are his mother Anne, sisters Barbara, Joan and Judy, brothers Jerry and Fran along with 2 nieces and 5 nephews. Family will receive friends to celebrate John's life on April 1, 2016, 6:30pm at 6600 Palmetto Drive, Isle of Palms, 29451.
