Jack was my true friend, confidant, and brother-I'd-always-wanted for thirty-five years. For twenty of those years he was my boss - an easy-going, kind, generous to a fault, fun loving, and fun-to-work for boss. He saw good in everyone and worked tirelessly for his clients. Not everyone knows that he was a prolific writer and wrote many non-fiction books. His last book, "God Our Father, the Legbreaker: Jesus His Son, the Peacemaker," was the only one he pursued publishing to completion. He received the book from the publisher just two or three weeks before he passed. He'd completed his bucket list and was elated. His last call to me was to say he was mailing me a copy. I received the book, and his inscription to me is something I'll always cherish. Sadly, I didn't get to tell him how proud I was of him, but somehow I think he knows.

My heart is broken but I know God has his plan for all of us who believe! Jack was such an amazing man. I am so fortunate to call him brother and friend. I know he is no longer suffering and is pain free. He is now walking with Jesus. May God bless his family through this time of sorrow.
