ROGERS, John Entered into eternal rest the afternoon of May 28, 2006 John Chadwick Rogers, husband of Jean Toliver Rogers. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. John Chadwick Rogers are invited to attend the Memorial Services of the former Wednesday May 31, 2006 in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, at eleven o'clock. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Tuesday evening from five until seven o'clock where The Hammerton Masonic Lodge will have a Masonic service at six-thirty o'clock. Mr. Rogers was born in High Point, NC on January 16, 1932, the son of J. D. Rogers and Alice Leslie Pitts Rogers. Mr. Rogers was retired from Lockeed Missles & Space Company. He was a 1959 graduate of NC State University with degrees in Engineering Math and Electrical Engineering. He served in the Korean War with the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. He was a member of the Hammerton Masonic Lodge, Omar Shrine Temple, Hillbilly Clan and BPO Elks Lodge. Mr. Rogers was a member and Elder of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and a devoted Master Gardener. Survivors are his wife of Charleston, SC; two daughters: Milissa Sayre of Cary, NC and Karen Martin of Charleston, SC; a step daughter: Tara Gilmore of Alpharetta, GA; three grandchildren: Brandon, Christopher and Michael; two step-grandchildren: Laura and Catherine.
