John Rieber Obituary

RIEBER, John Entered into eternal rest the evening of October 31, 2008, John Jack Francis Rieber. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. Funeral and burial will be private. Mr. Rieber was born April 9, 1929 in Albany, NY, son of the late Philip John Rieber and Marie Regina Murphy Rieber. He was a retired Pharmacist from the Syracuse, New York area. He was a Starter, Ranger and a member of Patriots Point Golf Club. Jack's most enduring attribute was that he never met a stranger. He is survived by many friends and special friends, Jim Stuckey, Dave Clark, Mike Maness and Gary Arnold whom he treated and thought of as sons. Jack was an avid golfer and his cremated remains will be scattered on a special green where there were many more birdies than bogey's. I wanted to send my condolences to friends of John. I am a nurse at Roper hospital and I always enjoyed having him as a patient. He always had a way of making my day a little better. We will miss him. God bless.
