John Henry Pritchard, Sr. JOHNS ISLAND - John Henry Pritchard, Sr., 82, of Johns Island, SC, widower of Barbara Rabon Pritchard died Saturday, January 18, 2014. His funeral service will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road. The family will receive friends in STUHR'S WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Henry was born August 5, 1931 in Charleston, SC, son of the late John Pritchard and Marie Griffin Pritchard. He was the former owner and operator of Pritchard Heating & Air and worked 20 years at Seabrook Island Resort. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Johns Island. He is survived by his five sons, John H. Pritchard, Jr. "Johnny", Stacey A. Pritchard, Hugh Potter Pritchard, Darryl E. Thrasher and John H. Pritchard, Jr. "Hank" all of Charleston, SC, two daughters, Deanna Pritchard Chavis "DeeDee" of Charleston, SC and Sherri Pritchard Biethman, Boise, ID; two sisters Irma Lee Pritchard Suggs of Charleston, SC and Peggy Pritchard Rabon of North Carolina; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four children William "Skeet" Pritchard, Anthony Thrasher, Shawn Anthony Pritchard and Garland Dean Thrasher, two sisters Marie Pritchard Suggs and Dorothy Pritchard Davis and brother William C. Condolences from the Boyer family. I am archiving graves at the Holy Spirit Cemetery on Johns Island where an infant named John Pritchard, born and buried there in 1967. I am putting grave markers on all graves there and would like to know if your family is related to this infant and can give me any information to go on the marker. My family is buried there & I am in the process of beautifying this cemetery for all families to enjoy when they visit their loved ones.
