I would like to say to John that he sure knew how to choose a worthy bride. I always have the most peaceful and gentle feelings of them and would love to have been part of their adult lives as well as Erskine days. The blessings never stop going out their way. Jan Wadlin ‘62

Gail... My family and I are deeply saddened for the sudden loss of John. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Every time I drove in or out of that road I looked for him to stop and catch up. It's going to be rough driving down there...we're happy to have known him. He really was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Gail and family, We were so saddened and shocked to read of John's passing. We always enjoyed having him come in to do business with us as he was so nice to work with. All of our employee's that have done work for him have commented on how they are going to miss him and how shocked they are as he was just in a couple of weeks ago. We know it is especially difficult when a passing is so unexpected and we all want to offer our sincerest condolences. Hold your memories close and let them help you get through these difficult times.
He will be missed by all of us here.

Gail, Mildred, Mike, Terrie, Ken, Susan and your families .... our thoughts are with you .. our hearts heavy. Some of my earliest memories are of gathering on Washington Pond laughing together & enjoying Kenway Boats. May your grief mellow & your memories strengthen. “I will not say, do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.”

To Gail, Susan, Millie, Ken II, Michael and Families: I am shocked and so sad to hear of John's passing! We loved him, as all people seemed to do. One thought I have: I know that John was haunted by his tour of duty in Vietnam; now HE IS AT PEACE! May God Bless you all and give you strength!! Allen and Gloria Wood & Family (and I have not forgotten that you and John are distant cousins of mine!) Much love!

To Johns Family- My family and I have had our cottage down the road from John and his wife for years and every time we drove in he'd be mowing his lawn or doing something :) always put a smile on my face to see him hard at work keeping up with his beautiful home! And every winter he let us park our snowmobile trailer in his turn around and always came out to chat with us and lend a helping hand! He was a very good man and he will be forever missed. He had just purchased a snowmobile and all i can say John is i hope you are up there snowmobiling away! Send us some good snow this year!!!
My thoughts and prayers are with the family
