John Muckenfuss, Jr. Ridgeville, SC - John Muckenfuss, Jr., 77, husband of Janie Mae Creel Muckenfuss, of Ridgeville, SC, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, February 1, 2016 at Edisto Indian Church of God at 2:30 PM. Burial will follow in Muckenfuss Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8 PM at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted. Mr. Muckenfuss was born July 2, 1938 in Ridgeville, SC, a son of John Muckenfuss, Sr. and Earline Muckelvaney Muckenfuss. John served in the US Army and was a welder at the former G.E. plant in Ladson. He was a landscaper and a house painter. Survivors include three sons, Benny Gillette (Angel) of GA, Irving Muckenfuss of Ridgeville and Tillman Muckenfuss (April) of WV; four daughters, Lurleen Creel (Brad), Leslie Reyes (Juan), all of Ridgeville, Lottie Muckenfuss (Timmy) of Cottageville, and Katie Williams (A.J.) of Ridgeville; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
