My family and I are deeply saddened to receive the news of the passing of Uncle Johnny, the Patriarch of our extended Markham Family. The family visits to Pittsfield at our times of bereavement brought great solace and strength to our family. From our hearts to yours, in appreciation of Uncle Johnny from an Irish Prayer:
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rain fall softly on your fields
And until we meet again
May you keep safe
In the gentle loving arms of God.
May the Divine Mercy of our Lord, Jesus Christ, be with each of our cousins at this time as your father is re-united with the love of his life and the members of his family in Heaven. God bless and comfort each of you in the days ahead. Our heartfelt love to all.
