John Lamas Obituary

John Lamas CHARLESTON - John Lamas, 58, of Charleston, died Monday, November 22, 2010. Mr. Lamas was born in New York City, NY on November 6, 1952, a son of the late Juan Lamas and Antonia DeJesus Lamas. He honorably served in the United States Air Force and retired May 10, 1996, as Chief Master Sargent. He later went on to work as a personal trainer. He enjoyed watching sports and playing racquetball. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his son, Raynaldo Lamas of Long Beach, CA, two daughters, Tiffany Lamas of Atlanta, GA and Dominique Lamas of Columbia, granddaughter Zoie DigiAmo of Atlanta. Mr. Lamas will be deeply missed. He touched many lives, those near or far from him. I pray that you will continue to have the support of those around you to get you through this tough time. Just remember, Mr. Lamas would not want you to lament long, for he loved life.
