JOHN HYLTON Obituary

JOHN NEWTON HYLTON FLOYD-John Newton Hylton, 84, passed away Tuesday October 26, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene Hancock Hylton. He is survived by: sons, Buel "Butch" Hylton, Duane Hylton; daughter, Gail Hylton; grandchildren, Anita Conner, Amy Conner, Amber Conner, Andrew Conner; great-grandson, Trey Walker; sisters, Peggy Hylton, Janet Edwards husband Ernie; brother, Frank Hylton and wife Nancy; brother and sister-in-law, Reginald and Sylvia Hancock; sister-in-law, Opalene Roberson; numerous nieces and nephews. John was known for his love for playing mountain music. Always there to help neighbors and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather. Devoted to his entire family. Funeral service was held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Duncan and Rev. Dale Belcher officiating. Interment followed at the Hylton Family Cemetery. Family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the funeral home. Arrangements by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd. Online condolences made by visiting maberryfuneralhome.com
