I have so many fond memories of "Little John" as the little brother of Nancy. I will always smile when I think of him. The love he shared as an adult is matched by the joy (and laughs) he gave as a youngster.

God has taken one of his most devout servents and although I and the whole family will miss John VERY much his life was a testimony to the fact that 1 person can make a difference. John was a loving family man and it was evident at the memorial that he did make a positive difference in our sometimes demanding world. It is extremely difficult to comprehend why he is gone, he will not be forgotten by his family who loved him and by the thousands of children whom he helped.

Our hearts go out to the whole family. May the peace and wisdom of God comfort you. We will understand someday.

We have sweated beneath the same sun
Looked up in wonder at the same moon
And wept when it was all done
For being done too soom.
