Denise & Chase, My heart is with you during this terrible time. John was an awesome person with such a big heart. It's so hard to understand why such a good person has been taken from us so early. We will miss him, his big smile and his many stories. We love you and are here if there is anything we can do to help.

Denise,
Frank & I had the opportunity to have met you and John at Brandi's
recent wedding. What an impression
John made on both Frank and I reliving his stories of Costa Rica and
all that he had done. We were fascintated with John and had certainly looked forward to being with him again. In just that one meeting the impression he left us with will be in our hearts forever.
God certainly knows when the kindness and the most sincere reach
out. How sadded we are that we will
not get to know him. Our sympathy to you and your family. You are in
our prayers.

Denise and Chase, I am so very sadden by this, I can't imagine your saddness. I'm still in disbelief. John was an honorable man and a very humorous one. His short time in this world made a difference in so many people including myself. My heart has an empty space, but I know he is laughing with the angels. I love both of you and are here for you.

Dear Denise,

One always wants to say the proper words at times like this but it's so hard because most people are not in your shoes. But I would like to say what John meant to me and that is how sweet and kind he was, and I'll especially remember his compassion (and yours too) when I was so sick. He will be missed by all who knew him. My heart is sad. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Chase.

Much Love,
Elaine

Remember that it is only when a grape is crushed and dies that its true value is recognized
Drink of the juice that is their legacy
and you will experience the spirit of love that remains
How sweet it tastes - O how sweet

We will miss you but not forget you

Denice, Dena and I have such fond memories of those few times we had the pleasure and great fun of spending time with you and John over at Tim and Leslie's. We won't forget John's hearty laugh and his wonderful stories. He made a lasting and warm impression on us. Our hearts and prayers are with you and Matt and all of John's loved ones during this most trying of times. May God Bless and comfort you. Ted & Dena Hallman

Dear Denise & Chase,
I'm still in shock. As you know God has a purpose for everything and he wanted John for reasons we will never know until you are joined in Heaven. John will be missed by many, many people but his imprint on this earth will always be remembered. I love you both, Lori

The sad news of your recent bereavement, in the death of John, has just reached me. I wish simply to express my sympathy for you and the family in your great trouble. Sometimes things just don't make sense . . . I guess if we already knew the answers, we would not need faith. I know that John now has the companionship of Christ and his angels. May the blessed comforts of religion comfort you in this. Love to all.

We are so sorry for this tragic loss of our friend John. We wish we had had more time. We are going to miss him. He called me "lizard lady" whenever he saw me after I got my first tattoo at the ripe old age of 45. He got a big kick out of calling me that. God bless John and his family during this sad time and always. We are glad to have met such a decent man. He will be forever remembered.
