He was my ENT doctor and was really great with children and adults, he just always had a way to make you feel relaxed and ready to go to the next step in treatment. He was loved by many patients over the years and missed by all.

It was with great sadness that I learned of the loss of Dr. Gibbs. I had the honor and the pleasure of working with him many years ago at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital downtown. What a wonderful, caring man he was! And, what a great sense of humor, too. I know that he will be greatly missed by all. No greater ENT dr. was there in Charleston than John Gibbs, Jr.
