John always knew how to include everyone in a conversation. John was bright, talented, and an exceptional teacher and leader. Every time we had the opportunity to talk, he brightened my day with new thoughts and ideas on how we could make the world a better place for students, not just at Whale Branch but throughout Beaufort County Schools and beyond. He was always someone whom I could count on to get things done. He opened my world with new contacts every week and new ideas that we could work on together. I know he was struggling to keep going every day, but that was not for him; that was for his students, community, and family. I will miss him. John, rest in peace.

I pray for healing and strength for Mr. Williams´s family. I had the pleasure of working with him from August 2025 until his last day at work. I learned so much from him about teaching computer science to students. I just found out today that one of his CyberPatriot teams made it to the semifinals, and I plan to lead them to the finals in his honor. Additionally, two of his teams ranked 2nd and 3rd in the state in the Silver Tier.
We all loved Mr. Williams-he has been and will continue to be deeply missed. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to have one last conversation with him two to three weeks ago. Again, prayers and healing blessings to his family.
