John Galloway Obituary

John Edward Galloway Adams Run, SC - John Edward Galloway, 60, of Adams Run, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Roper St. Francis Hospital. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, March 19, 2021, at Hopewell Baptist Church from 6 to 8 o'clock and on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 10 to 11 o'clock. Funeral service will follow at 11 o'clock and burial will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 6869 Parkers Ferry Road, Adams Run. Mr. Galloway was born November 28, 1960, in Charleston, son of the late Julius William Galloway, Sr., and Barbara Ann Driggers Galloway. John loved hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He was a wonderful friend and did anything he could to help his family and friends. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was a volunteer at Fair Shake Hunting Club. He loved spending time with his friends and family, but most of all he loved telling stories to make them laugh. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Mr. Galloway was an organ donor, with Sharing Hope, SC. Flowers will be accepted. Survivors include one sister and one brother: Cheryl Hendry (John) of Adams Run and Julius William "JW" Galloway, Jr. of Adams Run; three nieces and two nephews: Allysanne Beylotte of Adams Run, Jessica Renee Beverly Cartrette (Justin) of Walterboro, Julianne Louise Galloway of Adams Run, William Chandler Beylotte of Adams Run and Kenneth Mayberry Beverly (Charlee) of Ravenel; numerous cousins and a great number of very close friends.
