John Froehlich Obituary

FROEHLICH, John John Calvert Froehlich, 83, of Mount Pleasant, husband of Evelyn Mathews Froehlich died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at a local hospital. Mr. Froehlich was born on July 15, 1922 in Ludlow, KY to John Edward Froehlich and Myrtle Elvira Kirkpatrick Froehlich. He served in the US Air Force as a Lieutenant during WWII, he was a Pilot in the Pacific Theater. He graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's degree in political science, then went to Chase College of Law and received a Juris Doctorate degree. He was in computer sales and also an attorney. He served on the Board of Trustees and was one of the founders of the Homebuilders Class, Kenwood Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Mathews Froehlich of Mt. Pleasant, a son, Peter Joseph (Gina) Froehlich of Livermore, CA a daughter, Polly Cillpam of Mt. Pleasant, seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Froehlich and Lauren Froehlich both of Livermore, CA, Mrs. Jennifer (Robert) Ascher of Jacksonville, FL, Jeremiah Cillpam and Josiah Cillpam both of West Palm Beach,FL, K'Dream Cillpam and Thanny Cillpam both of Mt. Pleasant, SC, one sister, Mrs. Ada Froehlich Day of Cincinnati, OH. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Rd., Mt. Pleasant at 11AM with military honors.
