John Foster Summerville - John Edward Foster was born on November 9, 1934 to Allan Foster and Anna Beatty Foster in Monkton, Maryland, Baltimore County. He died Tuesday, June 12, 2018. The relatives and friends of John Edward Foster are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church, 11001 Dorchester Rd., Summerville. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in John's memory to The PURE Theater, 477 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403. He started as an engineer and worked in Marketing, Proposal Management and through to Business Development. He was currently on the Walnut Farms Architectural Review Board in Summerville, SC. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. John is survived by his wife, Miriam Foster, and by five of his six brothers and sisters, Betty Slade of North Carolina, Linda Townsend of Georgia, Roger Foster of Pennsylvania, David Foster of Camden, SC and Barbara Stone of Logoff, SC. His brother, Robert Foster, passed away in 2017. He is also survived by his three children, Kassandra Lynn Foster, Kevin Ashmore Foster and Rebecca Gill Foster all of Maryland; and also, Jonathan Kearney, his step-son of Minnesota.
