John Ray Fisher ST. STEPHEN, SC - John Ray Fisher, 17, of St. Stephen, SC, a senior at Timberland High School, died Monday evening in a Charleston hospital. His funeral will be 4:00 p.m., Thursday afternoon, October 8, 2009, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, St. Stephen. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., this Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dial-Murray Funeral Home, 300 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 2946,1 to assist with funeral expenses. John Ray was born March 8, 1992, in Killeen, TX, a son of Timothy Adam Fisher and Kelly Marie Sydik Fisher. He was of the Baptist faith. John Ray was a Carolina Gamecock Fan, and he enjoyed hunting, weight lifting, working on antique cars with his father and grandfather, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his family, especially his cousins. He had a great personality and always had a smile to share. John Ray was formerly employed at the Piggly Wiggly in Moncks Corner. Surviving are, his father of St. Stephen, a sister, Rebecca Marie Fisher of Moncks Corner; his grandparents, Terry and Susan Fisher of St. Stephen and Herbert Sydik of TOC, New Mexico; a great grandmother, Goldie Thornhill of St. Stephen; four aunts, three uncles, eleven cousins, and many special friends.
