John Eynon Obituary

EYNON, John Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of Friday, February 10, 2006, John Robertshaw Eynon, Master Sgt. U.S. Air Force, (Retired), husband of 58 years to Joan A. Eynon. Residence, James Island, SC. The relatives and friends of MSgt. and Mrs. John Robertshaw Eynon are invited to attend the funeral services of the former Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at eleven o'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Monday from five to seven o'clock. MSgt. Eynon was born November 1, 1929 in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Thomas Benjamin Eynon and Ivy Rita Robertshaw. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He honorably served his country as a Flight Engineer in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the James Island Yacht Club and the V.F.W. Post 445. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 147 and was a 32nddegree Mason. He was retired from the Robert Bosch Corporation. He is survived by his wife of James Island, SC; three sons: John Thomas Eynon of Richmond, Michigan, David Michael Eynon of Hollywood, SC, and Robert K. Bobby Eynon of Wadmalaw, SC; one daughter: Leslie Eynon Luden of James Island, SC; eleven grandchildren, Heather S. Harwell, William Robertshaw Eynon, Christipher C. Eynon, Alison Eynon, Thomas R. Eynon, John J. Eynon, Sean K. Eynon, Lauren A. Luden, W. Cameron Luden, Jr., Dylan S. Eynon, Michael G. Eynon; two great grandchildren, Brent V. Harwell and Hayley R. Eynon; and one sister: Sandra E. Jackson of Coos Bay, Oregon. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405. I met John thirty years ago thorugh VFW Post 445. We had a lot in common, we were both Korean War Vets Retired Air Force and loved fishing. We enjoyed many good hours of fellowship. God Bless.
