LTC. John James Drislan, Jr. (USAF, Ret.) MT. PLEASANT - LT. Colonel John James Drislan, Jr., (USAF, Ret.) 78, husband of Eileen Nellie Beleski Drislan of Mt. Pleasant, SC, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012. The relatives and friends of LTC. John Drislan are invited to attend his Funeral Service at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00PM - 7:30PM. John was born on December 25, 1933 in Fall River, Massachusetts, the only son of the late John James Drislan and Rosella Phillips Drislan of Fall River, MA. He was a retired Lt. Colonel in the USAF as well as a retired Classified Personnel Director with Charleston County Schools. He loved his God, his country, his wife and his family. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Drislan of Mt. Pleasant, SC, three daughters: Linda Marie Drislan Cioffi (Jack) of Bronxville, NY, Mary Drislan Madden (Jim) of Goose Creek, SC, Joanne Drislan Legg (Brian) of Hanahan, SC; one son: John Louis Drislan (Dena) of Goose Creek, SC. Also surviving are his five grandchildren: William Michael Cioffi, Elizabeth Rose Cioffi, Serena Nicole Madden, Hayley Monica Bargesser, Jonathan MacKenzie Bargesser and a sister, Patricia Gibney of Fall River, MA.
