CRAWFORD, SR., John John Bud Rutledge Crawford, Sr., 83, husband of Roseanne A. Crawford of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on March 28, 2008. The relatives and friends of John Crawford are invited to attend his Memorial Service in J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends following the service. Inurnment will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Paramus, NJ at a later date. Mr. Crawford was born March 22, 1925, in Ridgefield Park, NJ, son of the late Frederick D. Crawford and Ida Mildred Weixell. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and a member of Snee Farm Country Club. He was the former editor and publisher of the Town News in Paramus, NJ. Surviving are his wife, Roseanne A. Crawford of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his son, John R. Crawford, Jr. (Lorrie) of CA; his daughter, Elaine Crawford of NJ; step-son, Bruce P. Brower (Catherine) of Mt. Pleasant, step-daughters, Karen M. Jackson (Mark) of Mt. Pleasant and Lori A. Mandarino (James) of NJ; and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister, Mildred Keenan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Research & Clinical Program, MUSC, 3900 Core Road, N. Charleston, SC 29406.
