Col. Burrows was the ultimate gentleman and one the finest men I ever had the privilge of knowing. It was an honor and pleasure to provide home health services to him as his nurse. I miss him dearly. May God bless his family with peace of heart--We all know he is enjoying being with his beloved wife in heaven.

I simply adored Jake and it was always a pleasure when he (and Sandra) would visit with me in my McAlister Field House office at The Citadel. He will be missed.
