John Bledsoe Obituary

BLEDSOE, JR., John K. Relatives and friends of John K. (Jay) Bledsoe, Jr. are invited to attend a memorial service on Monday, June 19th at 2 p.m. at St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Cox and Rev. Woody Wiggins officiating. Visitation will be at the church immediately following the memorial service. Jay was born August 21, 1960 and passed away June 10, 2006. He graduated from Middleton High School in 1978 and was self-employed. Survivors include his mother Shirley Slaughter Bledsoe, his father and step-mother, John K. and Gladys McLeod Bledsoe. Survivors also include his son Hunter Kane Bledsoe of Charleston, SC; his daughters Kylie Bledsoe and Kelsey Bledsoe of Bluffton, SC; sisters Lisa Parr-Smith (Bill) of W. Bloomfield, MI; Keri Blocker of Charlotte, NC; Tracie Collins (Billy) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Parish UMC, 3225 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC, 29414 or to North Charleston UMC, 1125 E. Montague Ave., N. Charleston, SC, 29405. I can remember when Jay and I first met in Webelos Scouts when we

were quite young:Troup 79

I can remenber our days at Middleton High and and meeting many

mutual friends and your family.

I remember our days working for the PIG at northbridge and all those flower deliveries.

I rememember we always ran into

each other at the grocery store for years.

Today I give my sincerest condolances to the Bledsoe family

and prayers for comfort.
