Dear Margaret, John, Howard and all: I am so saddened and sorry about the loss of our beloved Cecil. He was such a fantastic, amazing, and wonderful human being. Never have I met a more kind, thoughtful, generous and decent person. He was so special and important to me – he gave me away at my wedding waaaayyy back in 1980 and he often lended an excellent ear whenever I needed to talk or get advice or whatever. Over more recent years, I really got to know him much better and enjoyed the visits to Charleston where we could hang out in his “man cave”, go out for some nice meals and maybe a little sightseeing, and best of all, take some rides together on our Harley's. I was already looking forward to riding up with my new sweetie, Eric, to meet him soon (and Margaret) and see Charleston. I am so bummed that will never happen now. The world is a much darker place without him in it. I will miss him so much and will never forget him. My “Cuz Cecil” will always be with me in my heart. May you all find comfort with each other, friends, family in these difficult days ahead. Margaret, I will still bring my sweetie up to meet you one of these days. That's a definite and I am there if you ever need anything – even just to chat or whatever. I wish I could have been there today. My thoughts are right there, though. Much love to all of you. “Cuz” Carla Michael
