John Elvin Barras SUMMERVILLE - John Elvin Barras, age 57, of Summerville, SC, passed away, November 19th, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2016 at 1:00PM in Knightsville Baptist Church - 1970 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. Survivors include his wife, Peggy, father, Bennie Barras Sr., sons; Jay (Tisha) Barras, of Summerville, SC, John Barras (Jung Hee Lee) of Odum, GA, three grandchildren; Dannion (Tyler) Hollar of Warwick, RI, Krisana Cardwell and Merra Cardwell, both of Summerville, SC. Also included is brother Bennie (Faye) Barras Jr. Predeceased by step-son, Michael Seegers, and mother, Colene Barras. Mr. Barras was a US Navy veteran and worked at Robert Bosch Corporation.
