Johanna Lombardi Obituary

LOMBARDI, Johanna (Le Poole) Of Stow, Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester, following a long illness. She was 54 and the wife of Richard M. Lombardi to whom she had been married for 17 years. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, she was the daughter of Maarten and Emily Joyce (Vizer) Le Poole of Belgium. She also leaves behind her brother Maaten Jan Le Poole, nephew Sam Le Poole and niece Sarah Vanwymebeke, all of Belgium. She lived in Stow for the past 16 years. Mrs. Lombardi was a self employed artist whose specialty was in jewelry. She competed in Dressage completion primarily with her horse Simon Says. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 29. From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Rt. 20, SUDBURY. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Johanna should be directed to New England Dressage Assoc., payable to "NEDA Scholarship Fund" c/o Susan Edelen, 21 Paradise Rd., Ipswich, MA 01938.
