To the family of Mr. Scroggins: May God be with you in this time of sorrow. I knew Mr. Scroggins only for a short time, but we always had such nice conversations when I stopped by at work. He touched a lot of lives, and he will be greatly missed.

To the Scroggins Family: My heart goes out to each of you during this difficult time. I have worked with Joe for the past nine years at Drayton Hall and have always been greeted by Joe's warm smile each and every day upon arriving at work. Joe was a kind and gentle man who brought sunshine and kindness to everyone with whom he came in contact. The gatehouse at Drayton Hall will never be the same without Joe. He will truly be missed by us all. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless You.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Scroggins' family and friends. Joe was a wonderfully kind, positive man who left a lasting impression on so many people. I always enjoyed seeing Joe and looked forward to his warm smile and conversation. He will be greatly missed.
