Joanna Helena McManus N. CHARLESTON - Joanna Helena McManus, 88, widow of Leo P. McManus, Jr., of North Charleston, SC, passed away Thursday morning, September 11, 2014 at her residence. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning, September 20, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Teresa The Little Flower Catholic Church. The rite of committal will be private. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7 o'clock at PARKS FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130, Charleston, SC 29407. Joanna was born December 13, 1925 in Columbus, GA, the daughter of Clement Hippolyte Dabezies and Joanna Betz Dabezies. She was a homemaker. Survivors include six sons, Leo P, McManus III of Newport News, VA, Gerald D. McManus of Barksdale AFB, LA, Donald McManus of Deltona, FL, Frank McManus of Orlando, FL, John McManus and Kevin McManus both of Charleston, SC.
