Sorry it's taken me so long to add my condolences, we were so very sad to hear of Joanna's passing.
I have so many wonderful memories of her and Bobby while I was a nanny on the Cape.

When our daughter, Brittany Kane, was attending College of Charleston, we heard all about the "sweetest person" she had met, JoJo. The girls shared much in common, especially their mutual love of all things equestrian.

Your smile turned a rainy day into a sunny summer day...your laughter warmed my heart and reminded me that no matter what age...the sky's the limit! I miss you so much!! Sure wish you were sitting on my back deck taking at least 50 pictures of that sunset...trying to get the perfect shot but we would get so disgusted that the pictures came nowhere near doing the real deal any justice. We will always have that memory! And millions more! I love you Jo Jo and I'll see you again one day.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Joly family. Especially our dear friend Bobby. We only had the pleasure of Joanna's company once, but we know she will be sincerely missed by all who knew her.

Joj, you were one if those friends that understood all perspectives. You had more wisdom than you gave yourself credit for. You very much were the unsung hero and I'll forever remember it. You would always help in any way. Your kindness was contagious. You were always so fun to be with and I miss your laugh. Your free spirit and love of sun is something I will carry within me. You helped me become the person I am today and I thank you for that. You helped me grow and you taught me to stop and smell the roses. Your unbelievable bad sense of direction reminded me that it's ok to get lost. You were a wonderer and you did your own thing. You never seemed too worried about things and that's what I will always remember. Not to worry, not to stress, just love and give. That's how you lived, and that's how I will live.

Jojo, thank you for being such a positive influence in my life. This is one thing that I wish I could tell you now. Your passion for animals was incredible. You were so concerned with the well being of those horses you worked with, which proved to me your integrity and ability to stand up for what's right. You always pushed me to follow my passion in music which is something i will be forever grateful for. I remember you holding my music at open mic nights when I forgot a music stand, and that time you dragged me to an American Idol audition early in the morning in the pouring rain :) I feel like anyone who knew you, knew you as the most easy going, relaxed, and kind-spirited person they knew. I'll forever miss your free spirit and blissfully forgetful personality. :) Thank you for all of your goodness.

So much of who I am and who I strive to be be has been influenced by you. You were incredibly cherished by your family and friends and will forever live within all of us who were lucky enough to know you. A bit of you will shine out from all of us each day.

Our sincere and deepest sympathy to the family. We knew Joanna from her early riding days in Barnstable. She displayed a passion for horses and truly loved to ride. She was a lovely young lady who had a sweet personality. The first thing I remembered was her smile... My prayers go out to you.

JoJo I cherished every waking minute with you. You were the most caring and thoughtful woman I have ever had the privledge of knowing. You brightened my rainy days and left me a better person for knowing you. I will always keep praying for you and your family. One of these days Im going to take those trips we planned and talked about. I love you so much and will always keep you in my heart.

Words cannot express how much I miss Jojo. Her smile, laughter, and unique humor will not be forgotten. I am so sorry for everyone's loss. She was not only my friend, but a very beautiful soul inside and out. Rest in Peace Jojo. I miss you, along with so many others that were touched by your amazing spirit.

I was so looking forward to meeting your Jo Jo this past weekend. I was told of her beautiful smile, generous and loving heart and especially how she lit up a room she entered. My parents loved when she came to sit on their porch to watch the sunset over Charleston harbor. She will be missed by my family greatly but never forgotten. My prayers are with your family, I am so, so sorry to hear of this. Joanna was my student for the many months she was here at Southeastern Institute in Charleston and she was such a joy to be around. She became like one of my children and I grew to care so much for her. Bright, funny, caring and compassionate are just a few of the wonderful words I would use to describe her.
