Joann Louise Bowman CHARLESTON - Ms. Joann Louise Bowman, 75, of Charleston, SC, passed away on April 20, 2025. Ms. Bowman's funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 03, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Central R.M.U.E Church, located at 117 President Street, Charleston, SC 29403. The viewing for Ms. Bowman will be held in The Palmetto Memorial Chapel today from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, located at 1122 Morrison Drive, Charleston, SC 29403. Carolina Memorial Park, located at 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC, 29406, will be the site of Ms. Bowman's burial. She leaves behind a loving family, survived by her children, Kenneth Frost, Jr. (Latrina), Jchernavia Shipman, and Josette Shipman-Johnson (Ryan); grandchildren: Sha'Vaughn Crawley, Kamari Frost, Diante' Taylor, Jordan Shipman, Trinity Frost, Jackson Johnson, and Ty'Nasia Brown; and a great-grandson, Master Karter Amir Frost-Hughes and a host of relatives and friends.
