Joan Mack Obituary

MACK, Joan ELLOREE, S.C. - Mrs. Joan Versailles Mack, 70, of Stumphole Road, Elloree, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008, in the Palmetto Health Richland, Columbia, S.C., after an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 20, at FOGLE-HUNGERPILLER FUNERAL HOME in Elloree. Reverend Kendall Williams, officiating. Burial in Elloree First Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway #6, Elloree. Active pallbearers will be Gregg Fanning, Lance Fanning, Andrew Collins, Jake Bonnette, J.D. Bonnette, Wray Bonnette, and Reggie Denham. Mrs. Mack was born in Felts Mills, New York, on June 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Joseph and Violet Kellsor Versailles. She was a Member of the Elloree First Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star, St. Matthews Chapter. She was a retired parts manager for an automobile dealership. Survivors include one son, Kenny E. Mack and wife, Deborah, of Cameron, S.C.; one daughter, Shannon Bonnette and husband Donald, of St. Matthews; one brother, Frank Versailles and wife Julie, of New York; five sisters, Jennette Wylie and husband Delbert, New York, Shirley Burns and husband Chuck, of New York, Cecile McCall and husband Allen, of Georgia, Bonnie Hull and husband Bob, of New York, Pat Burns and Randy Flemmin, of New York; three grandchildren, Amber Grooms, Deidra Bonnette, and Cory Mack; one great-granddaughter, Danielle Bonnette. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may also call at the Mack home, 576 Stumphole Road, Elloree. Memorials may be made to Shepard Spinal Center, 2020 Peachtree N.W., Atlanta, Georgia 30309, or South Carolina Oncology Associates, 166 Stoneridge Drive, Columbia, S.C. 29010.
