Joan Arrington Obituary

Joan Arrington Mt. Pleasant - Joan Lorraine Arrington, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late George William Arrington, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 6, 2021. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1122 Russell Dr, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 at 10:00 AM. The Rite of Committal will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel. Joan was born April 25, 1934 in Pennsylvania, daughter of Frederick and Lillian Conner. Joan attended Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware, where she met and married her husband, George, in 1954. They moved to Mt. Pleasant in 1981 and were happily married until his passing in 2010. Joan loved to contribute to her community. She joined the Ladies Auxiliary VFW post 10624 in order to help veterans. She also became a Eucharistic minister for Christ our King Church in order to help seniors unable to attend mass. Joan passed peacefully at home under the care of her grandson, John T. Wallace IV and granddaughter, Rose Pandola, while also able to enjoy time with her great-grandchildren, Johnny and Jasmine Wallace. She is survived by her children, Frank, Carl, and George Arrington.
