Jimmy Muckelvaney Obituary

Jimmy Muckelvaney, 69, of Ridgeville, SC, passed away on October 31, 2025. Born on September 8, 1956, in Summerville, he was the beloved son of Lorene Muckelvaney and the late Marion Muckelvaney. Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his service, he went on to work as a truck driver. When he wasn't working, Jimmy enjoyed many things in life including fishing, tending to his garden, and spending quiet hours drawing. He was a man of few words but a kind heart, known for his easygoing spirit and love of the outdoors. He is survived by his loving mother, Lorene Muckelvaney; his siblings: Terry Scott (Edward), Dorene Moore (Ronnie), Janet Kopinski (Paul), Tony Muckelvaney, and Wilma Noal; two children; as well as five beloved grandchildren. A visitation of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 12pm to 1pm at Givhan's Pentecostal Holiness Church, 216 Eagle Drive, Ridgeville, SC 29472. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm in the Church. Burial will immediately follow at the Church Cemetery.
