Jimmy Long Obituary

Jimmy Randolph Long NIXVILLE, SC - Mr. Jimmy Randolph Long, of Two Sisters Ferry Road in the Nixville Community, died Wednesday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Long was born in Hampton County December 11, 1943, a son of the late Henry Frampton Long and Addie Lee DeLoach Long. He had retired from the Maintenance Department at Georgia Pacific, and was a member of the Furman Masonic Lodge, and the Nixville Fire Department. Mr. Long was a member of the Nixville Baptist Church, and also served as an Honorary Deacon. Surviving are: his Wife: Elise Smith Long of Nixville; Daughter: Melanie Widmer and husband, Chris of Covington, Georgia; Brothers: David Long of Estill, and Clayton Long and wife, Ellen of Estill; and three grandchildren: Chandler, Clifford and Connor. Mr. Long was predeceased by two Children: Wanda Faye Long and Donna Kaye Long; Sister: Anna Lee Breland; and Brothers: James Francis Long, Sr. and Raymond O'Neal Long. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3P.M. in the Nixville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Dr. William A. Sandifer and Rev. Dr. Allan Kircher, with burial in the Nixville Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 4 tp 6 P.M. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
