Jewell Risher Obituary

Jewell Bennett Risher N. CHARLESTON - Mrs. Jewell Bennett Risher, wife of the late V. Randolph Risher, died Friday morning at Heartland of Charleston. She was 98. Mrs. Risher was born in Wayne County, GA June 21, 1913 a daughter of the late W. Oscar Bennett and Ruth Nichols Bennett. She was a Homemaker and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Methodist Missionary Society and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was also a former member of the North Charleston United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son Charles Risher of North Charleston, and by three grandchildren: Vicki Beaudrot and husband Robbie Hazel of Gaston, Rick Beaudrot and wife Michelle of West Columbia, and Kay Comalander and husband Troy of Chapin. There are four great-grandchildren: Sean and Cari Rikard, Bryan Beaudrot and wife Erica, and Jessica Beaudrot. Mrs. Risher has one great-great grandchild, Bryson Beaudrot and was preceded in death by a daughter Ann Risher Beaudrot Chaney. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:00 in the Providence Cemetery near Canadys. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
