Jewell O'Quinn Obituary

O'QUINN, Jewell WALTERBORO - Mrs. Jewell Evans O'Quinn, 86, of 101 Dorsey Street, died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at Oakwood Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held four o'clock Tuesday, August 16, 2005 in The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. O'Quinn was born October 19, 1918 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Arthur C. Evans and Lillie Umphries Evans. She was a homemaker and was a member of Evergreen Christian Church. Surviving are: her husband, Blease O'Quinn; brother-in-law, Perry O'Quinn of Beaufort; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church of one's choice.
