Jewell Goodman Obituary
Jewell Leroy "Boog" Goodman, 87, of Kittanning, died on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on Jan. 22, 1930, in Cadogan, to the late James Jewell and Hatti (Smith) Goodman.
Mr. Goodman was a retired coal miner and Korean War veteran. He belonged to the American Legion Post 325 in Cowansville and was a Little League umpire. Jewell enjoyed hunting and shooting pool.
Boog leave behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Dolores J. Goodman; sons, Victor Goodman of Kittanning; Lawrence Goodman of Worthington; and Mike Goodman of Adrian; daughter, Annette Goodman of Adrian; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Sidney Goodman and Lawrence Goodman; and sisters, Marlene Treece and Patty King.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter, Judy Lynn Goodman; brothers, Albie, Jim, Bill, and Harold; and sisters, Linda and Violet.
Family and friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in the Snyder Crissman Funeral Home, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville. Additional viewing will be in the funeral home from 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2017, until time of services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sue Foster officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Please visit www.snydercrissman.com.
